I’m a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon based in Manchester. I hold NHS clinics in the North of Manchester (Bury, Rochdale and Oldham) and hold private clinics at Oaklands Hospital in Salford and The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale.
I graduated with Honours from the University of Manchester. I completed my basic ophthalmic training in Worcestershire, East Anglia and Liverpool. My advanced oculoplastic surgery training was initially in Liverpool followed by two years of fellowship training in Manchester and Sydney, Australia. I provide a full range of general ophthalmic services. My special interest includes all disorders of the eyelids (commonly malpositions and abnormal masses), lacrimal system (watery eyes) and orbit (abnormalities of the tissues around the eye and the eye socket). I have published and presented in many aspects of Ophthalmology and continue to have research interests in oculoplastic surgery. I set up and run the current Oculoplastic service in Pennine Acute Hospitals and am pleased to be able to offer oculoplastic and lacrimal treatment to my patients here, including Mohs surgery reconstruction (for skin cancer) and surgery for watery eyes. |
